Jamblang Rice

People say we should apreciate what we have had. It is the things that Allah has given to us, include our foods that we got. In my home town Cirebon, there are many traditional foods. Every region of Cirebon has their traditional food. The famous one is jamblang rice. It is traditional food from jamblang village in the district of Cirebon. Most of traditional foods has an ordinary appearance but has a delicious taste. I will never know how special jamblang rice is, until my friends asked me to taste it.

I cannot forget the first day when I was in senior high school. It was on Monday morning at a half past nine. The bell was ringing and it was the time for student to have a break. My friends took me to canteen for ate.  After that, I found unfamiliar food in canteen, it was attracted my attention.  It was covered by a kind of leaf and there were some additional food, such as tempe, soup tahu, and perkedel. I was so curios of that food and my friends told that was jamblang rice. I had already known it was jamblang rice at that time.

Bad Habit for College’s Students

Every single student must be ever made a mistake.  Sometimes they unrealized about the mistake that they have done, such as come late.  Nowadays, come late even become common problem for all students especially college’s student.  Every day in every college, there are many students come late.  Seem like it has become their habit.  It is bad habit as the biggest mistake that college’s students often do.

Come late is bad habit and a serious problem for college’s students.  It also influences their behaviour.  When students come late they will receive punishment from lecturer and social environment.  For example, when students come late the lecturer will give punishment to students and they will get bad score in attitude.  Students also will get social punishment because they will feel so shy to their classmates.  Because of that they will not focus to the lesson in the class.

            Perkembangan teknologi internet dewasa ini begitu pesat dan telah begitu memasyarakat, tidak hanya berlaku di kalangan dewasa namun juga di kalangan anak dan remaja termasuk siswa sekolah dasar. Pesatnya perkembangan tersebut juga diiringi dengan semakin meningkatknya pengguna Internet dan Warung Internet. Bahkan saat ini mulai maraknya pelajar SD bermain Internet baik di rumah maupun di warung-warung Internet menjadi bukti bahwa teknologi internet sudah mulai merebak bagai virus.

Di sisi lain meratanya pengguna Internet hingga sampai kepada pelajar SD juga mengancam kerusakan moral para pelajar, karena Internet bagaikan pisau bermata dua. Ada manfaat positif yang yang bisa diambil di sisi lain Internet juga memiliki dampak negatif yang mengancam anak-anak. Sebagai bukti munculnya data dan fakta dikalangan pelajar, saat ini telah terjadi pergeseran orientasi penggunaan Internet yang sangat memprihatinkan. Sebagian besar pelajar menggunakan internet hanya untuk bermain game online dan membuka situs jejaring sosial. Terlebih situs jejaring sosial yang terkenal saat ini dikalangan kita seperti Facebook.com di dalamnya sudah menyertakan fasilitas chatting, dan games. Sudah barang tentu situs ini menjadi halaman favorit yang dikunjungi para pelajar tidak hanya di Indonesia tetapi juga di seluruh dunia.
